Emergent Cycles

Emergent Cycles uses sound and movement to honor states of transformation, transition, and vulnerability. The piece is inspired by a vivid dream I once believed was a premonition, but later understood as a catalyst for change. Mackenzie uses the story of this dream as an improvisational score to guide the tone and temporality of their movement. This is a durational meditation on liminality, a spiritual healing we invite the audience to witness and be a part of.
